INSTALLATION
1. Install valve in air line with air flow in direction of arrow
on body. Use pipe thread sealant on male threads only.
Do not allow sealant to enter interior of valve.
2. The slide on the T74B, T74E, and T74T can be locked in
the closed position only. The slide on T74H can be
locked in the open or closed positions. If desired, install
a customer supplied padlock in the 7.5mm (0.29")
diameter hole in the slide.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Shut off inlet pressure. Reduce pressure in inlet and
outlet lines to zero.
2. Remove the valve from the air line. Disassemble in
general accordance with the item numbers on exploded
view.
CLEANING
1. Clean all parts with warm water and soap.
2. Dry and inspect parts. Replace parts found to be
damaged.
REASSEMBLY
1. Lubricate o-rings and center area of both sides of slide
(4) with o-ring grease. Assemble valve as shown on the
exploded view. The blade (4) on The T74E, T74H, and
T74T valves must be installed with the slotted exhaust
hole facing the outlet port. The T74E valve uses o-ring
(3) in the inlet and outlet bodies. The T74B, T74H, and
T74T valves use o-ring (3) in the inlet body, and seal
(3A) in the outlet body.
